How it works:

Once you place your order, we'll email you detailed instructions along with the mailing address to send your flowers/sand. We recommend shipping your flowers/sand in a small package using USPS. Jewelry made with sand requires about 1 tablespoon of sand. Flower rings and pendants only require about one rose worth of flowers, although you're welcome to send more if you'd like additional color variety included in your piece. To preserve the flowers properly, they must be completely dried before shipping to prevent decay during transit. Once your flowers arrive, we'll carefully transform them into a one-of-a-kind keepsake you can wear for years to come.

How to dry flowers:

Drying Individual Petals (Simplest Way)

Instructions:

  1. Gently remove petals from the flower head.

  2. Place petals separated in a single layer on a paper towel, parchment paper, or drying screen.

  3. Keep them in a dry room away from direct sunlight.

  4. Allow 5-10 days to dry completely.

Best for: Roses, peonies, carnations, daisies.

Silica Gel Drying (Best for Preserving Color)

Instructions:

  1. Purchase silica gel crystals from a craft store.

  2. Pour 1-2 inches into an airtight container.

  3. Place flowers upright inside the container.

  4. Gently pour additional silica around and over the flowers until fully covered.

  5. Seal the container.

  6. Allow 3-7 days for drying.

Best for: Roses, dahlias, zinnias, chrysanthemums, orchids.

Oven Drying (Fastest Method)

Use this method carefully, as excessive heat can discolor flowers.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F-200°F (75°C-95°C) or the lowest setting available.

  2. Place flowers or petals on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. Keep flowers in a single layer without overlapping.

  4. Leave the oven door slightly cracked open to allow moisture to escape.

  5. Carefully check your flowers every 10 minutes until they are dried.

  6. Allow them to cool completely before packaging.

Best for: Loose petals and small flowers.

Tip: Lower temperatures always produce better results.

Pressing Flowers

Instructions:

  1. Place flowers between parchment paper.

  2. Put them inside a heavy book or flower press.

  3. Add additional weight on top.

  4. Leave for 2-4 weeks.

Best for: Daisies, pansies, cosmos, ferns.
